Upendra Yadav Continues Door-to-Door Campaign in Saptari-3

Shambhunath (Saptari). Upendra Yadav, Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and candidate for the House of Representatives from Saptari Constituency No. 3, has continued his door-to-door campaign. He has been visiting various wards and settlements of Shambhunath Municipality to meet voters and request their support.

According to Shailendra Prasad Sah, the party's Central Secretary and Coordinator of the Constituency Election Mobilization Committee, Yadav met with voters in Narahiya, Sakhuwa, Narahi, Sirakajari, Khoksar, Kanakpatti, and Kathauna Bazaar under Shambhunath Municipality.

During the campaign, most voters shared their grievances with Chairman Yadav, highlighting issues such as dilapidated roads, lack of quality services in schools and hospitals, land ownership problems (Bitauri), and the hardships faced due to the incomplete Kathauna-Pato road.

Voters also raised concerns regarding unemployment, lack of irrigation, and shortage of fertilizers. Locals complained that previous representatives had neglected developmental works and the rights of the people.

Chairman Yadav expressed his commitment to working toward constitutional amendments to secure remaining rights, as well as fostering development and prosperity. Stating that Saptari-3 remains one of the most backward areas in the district, he said, "The government's policy itself is discriminatory.

While 70 percent of the revenue is collected from Madhesh, only 11 percent of the budget is allocated to it. The districts of Madhesh are still lagging behind, and a sufficient budget is required to uplift them."

During the campaign, Chairman Yadav also met with former parliamentarians Danalal Chaudhary and Jagdish Sah. Their discussions covered the current political situation, people's rights, and the developmental needs of the constituency.

The door-to-door program saw the participation of several leaders, including central leader and former minister Renu Kumari Yadav, Central Secretary Shailendra Prasad Sah, central member and former Madhesh Province Assembly member Bideshwar Prasad Yadav (Bikki), central members Shailendramohan Jha and Ramila Sah, proportional candidate Chulhai Mandal, District Vice-Chairman Hareram Yadav, Nirmala Mandal, Dhaneshwar Yadav, and former Vice-Chairperson of Rupani Rural Municipality Bechani Sardar.

Saptari Constituency No. 3, which includes Bishnupur, Rupani, and Rajgadh Rural Municipalities along with Shambhunath and Dakneshwari Municipalities, has a total of 111,871 voters.
