KMC Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol Inaugurates X-ray Service at Ramghat Health Center

Kathmandu: Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Sunita Dangol, has stated that the metropolis is continuously working to strengthen the public health system.

While inaugurating an X-ray machine at the Ramghat Primary Health Care Center in KMC Ward No. 8 on Friday, Deputy Mayor Dangol emphasized that ensuring easy access to health services for all citizens is a top priority for the city.

"With the objective of making health services fast, easy, and effective, we are operating Cooperative Health Promotion Centers in various wards," she said. "In some locations, we are providing services by even renting spaces due to a lack of our own facilities, and the impact has been positive."

Acknowledging the long history of the Ramghat Primary Health Care Center and the high population density and high volume of patients in the area, she noted that the city is gradually adding necessary infrastructure to provide effective services to these residents.

"Ramghat Primary Health Care Center has a long history of providing continuous health services. The pressure of patients is very high here, and the population density in this area is significant. We are making constant efforts to provide effective services to these beneficiaries," she added.

Mentioning that the X-ray service was launched as part of the expansion of all necessary services at health promotion centers, she expressed confidence that many service seekers would benefit. She also expected this step to further strengthen the public health system of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
