Nepal Unanimously Elected Vice-President of World Health Assembly

Kathmandu. Nepal has been unanimously elected to the post of Vice-President of the 79th World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization. This historic election took place today during the opening session of the General Assembly held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
Under the same session of the General Assembly, a statement on behalf of Nepal by Minister Nisha Mehta is also scheduled to be presented today.
