NepalActs.com Website Launched to Support Independent Candidates
A new election campaign platform, NepalActs.com, has been formally launched with the goal of supporting independent candidates in the upcoming general election scheduled for March 5 (Falgun 21).
The digital platform NepalActs.com has been prepared for independent candidates wishing to contest the election based on the Prithvi Path Manifesto. It presents the only alternative path based on policy, ideology, and national vision against candidates from traditional political parties.
This platform is built for candidates interested in running a national campaign based on issues such as sovereignty, self-reliance, circular economy, energy independence, cultural continuity, and national unity. It is inspired by the Divyopadesh (Divine Counsels) propounded by Prithvi Narayan Shah.
With the launch of the campaign, the platform will provide information on the preparation of necessary documents for candidate registration, as well as legal and procedural matters. The website also features informative and guiding videos prepared on how to secure victory by joining this focused mission as an independent candidate in the first-past-the-post system.
For the House of Representatives member election scheduled for March 5, the nomination filing for candidates is taking place this Tuesday. Independent candidates preparing to run for the House of Representatives are requested through this press release to view these materials prior to their nomination.
Independent candidates preparing to run for the House of Representatives based on the Prithvi Path Manifesto are requested to adopt the same election symbol—the two-fingered palm, a symbol of peace and victory—across all 165 constituencies.
The objective of launching the NepalActs.com platform is to promote politics based on ideas and policies, empower capable citizens outside of traditional party structures, and present a national mainstream path based on Nepal's history, geography, and civilizational identity.
