Voting Time for New CPN-UML Leadership Postponed
Kathmandu: The voting for the selection of the new leadership of CPN-UML has been postponed.
The voting, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday at Bhrikuti Mandap, has been rescheduled to 4 PM, informed Rajendra Gautam, head of the UML publicity department.
According to him, the voting will be conducted using electronic devices. The time was postponed because it takes time to upload the details of candidates along with their photos onto the voting machines.
It is estimated that it will take at least 35 minutes for one person to cast votes for all candidates.
According to the UML Central Election Commission, the results will be announced within one to two hours after the completion of the election.
