UML Secretariat to Meet at Oli’s Residence in Gundu

Kathmandu. The Central Secretariat meeting of the CPN (UML) is scheduled to be held today (Monday). According to Office Secretary Dr. Bhishma Adhikari, the meeting will take place at 1:00 PM at the residence of Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli in Gundu.

The meeting, which was initially scheduled for May 16 (Jeth 2), was postponed to today. Leaders have stated that today's main agenda will focus on the division of responsibilities among leaders, which has not been finalized since the 11th General Convention. According to an office-bearer, preparations are underway to assign central committee members to local level duties.

Every central committee member will be appointed as a municipality/rural municipality in-charge and instructed to strengthen the party for the upcoming local elections. Similarly, preparations are being made to distribute responsibilities within central departments and bodies.

The office-bearer also informed that today's meeting will set the date for the Central Committee meeting to review the elections held last march.

Furthermore, leaders stated that today's meeting will discuss the landless squatters forcibly evicted by the government, their management, and the government's recent actions and their negative impact on the general public.
