UML Rally, NVF Force to be Announced at Karki Banquet

The CPN (UML) is set to announce the National Volunteer Force (NVF) today for the protection of the party's policy and leadership. Ahead of the force's announcement, youth affiliated with the UML have organized a rally.

Mahesh Basnet and Youth Association President Kshitij Thebe, among others, led the rally. Party Chairman K.P. Sharma Oli is scheduled to announce the force at the Karki Banquet in Babarmahal.

The UML stated that the NVF is being announced to boost the declining morale of the general public following the increased insecurity and unrest in society and the events of Bhadra 23-24 (September 8-9).
