UML Leaders Inspect Damage at Congress Central Office
Patan (Lalitpur),September 19 – Senior Vice President of the Nepal Communist Party (UML), Ishwar Pokharel, along with other party leaders, visited the central office of the Congress Party in Sanepa today to inspect the damage.
The leaders went to the Congress central office, which was set on fire during the ‘Gen-Z’ protest this morning, to gather necessary information.
Vice Presidents Guru Baral, Ashtalakshmi Shakya, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Foreign Department Chief Rajan Bhattarai, and leader Amritkumar Boharal were among those who participated in the inspection.
Congress Treasurer Umesh Shrestha and Central Office Secretary Pradeep Parajuli briefed the leaders about the extent of the damage. Shrestha stated, “The same group deliberately caused the damage. They came first, second, and third times to loot materials, and on the fourth time, they set fire.”
