UML Leader Mahesh Basnet Declares His Burnt House Will Be Preserved as a “Destructive Museum”
Kathmandu – UML leader Mahesh Basnet has announced that his burnt house will be preserved as a “destructive museum” for a long time. On his Facebook post, he stated, “Let everyone look at my house and decide whether it was necessary to burn it or not.”
Basnet claimed that during his tenure as a Member of Parliament and Industry Minister, he made historic changes in Nepal’s industrial and business sectors and emphasized that he has dedicated his life to serving the people.
He said, “Because of this, my house was set on fire, attempts are made to defame and kill me, my family is being targeted to be burned alive, and innocent children are being made to struggle in society.”
He further added, “I am not someone to be intimidated. I am ready to die, but I will never step back from my duty and the interest of the people.”
