UML Leader Gokul Baskota Issues Clarification on Red Passport
Kathmandu: CPN (UML) leader and former minister Gokul Baskota has issued a public clarification regarding his previous tenure's Red Passport (Diplomatic Passport) via a Facebook post, addressing the concerns of those who have been questioning him on the matter.
In his social media post, Baskota explicitly stated that he had already gotten his diplomatic passport from his last term "cancelled a long time ago" by visiting the concerned branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He further clarified that he has not acquired that passport (presumably a new one) for the current period.
The former minister concluded the post by issuing this message to provide a blanket clarification to all those who have been expressing curiosity.
