Reconstruction of UML Central Office to be Funded by Nepali Youth Abroad
Kathmandu: CPN-UML leader Mahesh Basnet has announced that the central office of the party, which was damaged by vandalism and arson during the recent 'Gen-Z Movement,' will be reconstructed with financial support from Nepali youth residing abroad.
According to the information shared by Basnet on a social media post, the estimated cost for the reconstruction of the party office building is approximately 10 crore Nepali Rupees. This entire cost has been pledged by Nepali youth living in various countries.
Basnet stated that after the party decided to renovate and reuse the burnt building as the central office, young Nepalis abroad contacted the party, committing to the cause with the message, "We will rebuild the office."
He lauded this contribution from the youth as an "inspiring example of patriotism and dedication to the party," and extended his gratitude to all contributors. The entire reconstruction effort will be coordinated by ONF.
