UML Applies for Party Registration for Upcoming General Election
Kathmandu, Mangshir 9: The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has submitted an application for party registration for the upcoming House of Representatives member election.
UML central election department head Niraj Acharya and other leaders submitted the application to the Election Commission.
According to Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, a total of 67 political parties currently registered with the commission have submitted applications to register their parties to participate in the general election, which is scheduled to be held on Falgun 21.
The UML had previously submitted an application for party registration for the National Assembly member election, which is scheduled for Magh 11.
