Ujyalo Nepal Party Denies Rumors of Withdrawing Election Candidacies
KATHMANDU. The Ujyalo Nepal Party has clarified that rumors spreading about the party withdrawing its candidacy in several constituencies for the House of Representatives election are completely baseless.
The party stated that its serious attention has been drawn to misleading news and information suggesting that its candidates in Morang Constituency No. 6, Dolpa, and Achham had withdrawn or abandoned their candidacies.
Issuing a press release, party spokesperson Dr. Raju Thapa claimed there is no truth to such rumors circulating in various media outlets and social media platforms.
"The Ujyalo Nepal Party has not officially made any decision to withdraw candidacies for the upcoming House of Representatives election," he mentioned in the statement issued on Monday.
The party has urged everyone not to follow such rumors, stating that these baseless allegations were spread with the intent of misleading voters on the eve of the election.
