Binod Chaudhary Inspects Under-Construction Trauma Center in Nawalparasi
Nawalparasi. Binod Chaudhary, the sitting Member of Parliament and House of Representatives candidate for Nawalparasi (West) Constituency No. 1, visited the under-construction trauma center in Bardaghat Municipality-Chisapani today (Friday) to take an onsite observation and brief himself on the project's overall progress.
The concreting of the first floor of the two-story building, which began a year ago, was scheduled for today. During the observation, Chaudhary highlighted the importance of the project and instructed the construction team to complete the work on time.
The project, aimed at operating an integrated hospital with trauma facilities within the Chisapani Hospital premises, has a completion target of Ashwin 23.
On this occasion, Binod Chaudhary said, "This trauma center being built in Bardaghat-Chisapani is not just a building; it is a center of hope for saving people's lives. Victims of accidents on the East-West Highway will now receive timely treatment.
In line with the promise I made during the election, this work is moving forward with a commitment to strengthen the health infrastructure of this region, and I will personally be involved in continuous monitoring to ensure it is completed within the specified time."
According to Shambhu Lal Shrestha, Mayor of Bardaghat Municipality, the trauma center will provide significant support to the region's health services once construction is complete.
The under-construction trauma center is expected to provide immediate trauma treatment to victims of road accidents on the Nawalparasi-Butwal section of the East-West Highway, as well as offer easy access to emergency services for local residents. As a pride project being advanced according to election promises, this project has increased excitement and positive expectations among the people of Nawalparasi.
