Congress President Thapa Pledges to Make Nepal a Digital Hub in Five Years
Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President and candidate for Sarlahi Constituency No. 4, Gagan Thapa, has expressed his commitment to advancing Nepal in digital technology over the next five years.
On Monday, through a video shared on social media, President Thapa stated that it is possible to achieve IT and digital technology exports worth NPR 4 Kharba within the next five years.
“Within the next five years, it is possible to export IT and digital technology worth NPR 4 Kharba. Direct employment can be provided to more than 200,000 people within Nepal,” he said.
He also mentioned that at least three to five IT companies could be listed in the stock market within five years if the current foundation is effectively utilized.
