Gagan Thapa Congratulates Amaresh Singh on Sarlahi-4 Victory

Kathmandu. After being defeated in Sarlahi-4, Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has congratulated Amaresh Singh, who won from the Rastriya Swatantra Party.

Sharing a post on the social network Facebook, he stated that he will continuously work within his initiative and capacity to address the problems he observed in the Sarlahi region.

He wrote, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Amaresh Singh on being elected from Sarlahi Constituency No. 4! I express my sincere gratitude to all the voters of this region who gave me their love, trust, and votes. I will continuously work within my initiative and capacity to address the problems I have seen in this area." 

Thapa was defeated by Singh by more than 13,000 votes. While Singh secured 35,688 votes, Thapa received 22,831 votes.
