Bagmati Province Cabinet Approves Formation of Two Committees, Grants Tax Relief

Makwanpur — The Bagmati Province Cabinet meeting held on Monday approved orders to form two committees. 

The meeting endorsed the orders related to the formation of the New Buddha Park Area Development Committee and the Tribhuvan Park Operation and Management Committee, according to Province Government Spokesperson and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Prabhat Tamang.

The meeting also decided to provide exemptions on certain fees, taxes, and fines related to vehicles operating within the province. The decision is expected to provide relief to vehicle owners.

Similarly, the Cabinet approved procedures related to the operation of blood transfusion services with the objective of facilitating emergency treatment services for underprivileged citizens in the province, Spokesperson Tamang said.

The Cabinet meeting also approved a proposal regarding ward division in Sunapani Rural Municipality–4 of Ramechhap district. In addition, a decision was made to appoint Jivaraj Basyal and Gita Humagai to the post of Secretary at the Bagmati Province Cabinet Office.

Likewise, the meeting approved the resignations submitted by Prabhat Adhikari, Chairperson of the Problematic Cooperative Management Committee, and members Yatiraj Sapkota and Yagyaraj Dahal, the government spokesperson informed.
