Surya Thapa: “Balen Shah is not fit to sit even for a minute as Mayor”

Kathmandu – UML leader Surya Thapa, through a Facebook post, has strongly criticized Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah, stating that he is not fit to hold the mayoral position even for a minute.

Thapa alleged that Mayor Balen Shah’s inaction and role were evident during the fires at Singh Durbar, Shital Niwas, the Supreme Court, and the Parliament building, as well as during the incident on Bhadra 24, which claimed 54 lives.

In the post, Thapa also described Balen Shah as being associated with “foreign-backed conspirators and criminal elements,” asserting that he lacks the qualifications to hold the capital city’s mayoral office.
