Film Journalist Suraksha Bhattarai Honored with National Film Journalism Award

Kathmandu. Suraksha Bhattarai, an active journalist in Nepali film journalism, has been honored with the 'Late Dinesh Sitaula Memorial National Film Journalism Award 2083'.

The Film Journalists Association presented her with the award on the occasion of its 27th anniversary and National Film Journalism Day. The association stated that she was honored in recognition of her contribution to the field of film journalism.

Currently, she runs her own YouTube channel and online movie magazine. Along with journalism, Bhattarai is also active in the field of media coordination for movies and has played an important role in the media coordination of successful films, including 'Purna Bahadurko Sarangi'.

Operating her own office in Anamnagar, Kathmandu, she has also provided direct employment to five people. She has conducted hundreds of interviews and hosted various programs.

Institutionally active in the Film Journalists Association as well, she served as a member for 3 years and was subsequently elected as the female vice-president.

Following the receipt of the award, filmmakers and journalists have expressed their congratulations and best wishes to her.
