KMC Leadership Conducts Field Monitoring of Community Buildings
Kathmandu: As part of the monitoring of completed and ongoing projects, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has inspected three buildings.
On Tuesday, a monitoring team led by Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol inspected the Humla Limi Community Building in Bouddha, the Buddha Samaj Kendra Building in Ramhiti, and the Karma Rong Development Society Building, also in Ramhiti.
After the inspection, Mayor Dangol stated that such infrastructures play a significant role in preserving local villages, areas, and traditions.
She said, "These buildings are also places that reflect one's faith. Such infrastructures have played an important role in protecting our villages and our way of life. Local residents also continuously follow up with us. They mention when the budget is insufficient and make requests. This helps make us more responsible."
She further mentioned that the city is positive about constructing temporary structures if necessary. She expressed her commitment that the metropolis will continue to support the construction of such buildings.
