Sumana Shrestha Declares She Will Not Join Cabinet, Will Support Government’s Success

Kathmandu –  Sumana Shrestha has clearly announced that she will not be joining the interim cabinet. In a Facebook post, she stated, “Not power, but service! Not a chair, but action! Not a name, but work! I am not going to the interim cabinet.”

Shrestha expressed her full support for the government and said she would contribute her experience, network, and time to ensure its success. However, she made it clear that she will not accept any ministerial position.

She further said, “After every movement, when those against whom the movement was launched cozy up with the old powers, the spirit of the movement gets polluted. In this movement, I will not be a cause of such pollution. I will dedicate myself to institutionalizing its achievements.”
