New Home Minister Sudan Gurung Assumes Office

Kathmandu. Newly appointed Home Minister Sudan Gurung has assumed office. After being appointed on Friday, the minister took charge of his ministry following the swearing-in ceremony.
Previously, he came into the spotlight during the Gen Z movement that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24. Sudan Gurung, who rose to sudden prominence after the Gen Z movement on Bhadra 23 and 24, was elected from Gorkha Constituency No. 1 representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
