Indian Minister Sonowal in Kathmandu to Attend Kali Baba’s Grand Yagna

Kathmandu – India’s Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, has arrived in Nepal to participate in the Shree Dashamahavidya Rudra Hawan Mahayagna being held at Pashupati Hansamandap under the initiation of Kali Baba. Despite his busy schedule, Sonowal made time to attend this significant religious ceremony, informed the event’s organizing committee coordinator, Ashok Gautam.

Sonowal is also a devoted follower of Kali Baba. He is a former Chief Minister of Assam and currently ranks 14th in seniority within Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet. According to Gautam, Sonowal is scheduled to return today itself.

The Mahayagna is taking place in the presence of Shree 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Krishnananda Paramhans Swami Kalidas (Kali Baba) at Pashupati’s Hansamandap. Known for his spiritual influence across South Asia and other parts of the world, Kali Baba commenced this Mahayagna on Wednesday, the 14th of Shrawan, and it will continue until Saturday, the 24th of Shrawan, as per the organizers.

At present, the ‘Dashamahavidya Rudra Hawan Mahayagna’ has become a major center of religious and cultural attention in Kathmandu.
