UML Central Member Accuses KP Oli of Disgracing Party
Kathmandu. CPN-UML Central Member Arabindra Singh has accused Chairman KP Sharma Oli of bringing disgrace to the party.
Speaking at an inter-dialogue event held in Kathmandu on Wednesday regarding the UML's Eleventh General Convention, he stated that Oli had brought a bad name to the party.
Central Member Singh said that the "destruction" on September 8 and 9 (Bhadra 23 and 24) was caused by KP Oli himself.
He added that even now, some within the party are trying to spread the illusion that KP Oli is the leader who will resolve the crisis. Singh further commented that it is shameful to try and present the very cause of the country's ruin (Oli) as the solution.
He pointed out the mistake of suspending Bidhya Bhandari's membership while individuals like Eknath Dhakal, who belong to a separate party, are allowed to be UML MPs.
Stating that there is no alternative now but to change the leadership of the UML, he urged the General Convention representatives to make a wise decision.
