Ujyaalo Nepal Party’s Shreeram Gurung Criticizes Current Political State
Kathmandu: Shreeram Gurung, a leader of the Ujyaalo Nepal Party and a candidate for the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, has expressed dissatisfaction with the current political situation.
Addressing a mass meeting held in Budhanilkantha on Wednesday, Gurung remarked that although Nepal is a nation rich in natural resources and potential, the public has failed to use discretion in selecting leadership.
He said, "Our country is naturally rich. Our country is full of possibilities. However, we are still following individuals as leaders who give smooth speeches but are unable to provide employment for themselves and remain perpetually unemployed."
Pointing out the need to preserve the dignity of the supreme body that formulates policies, Gurung stated that it should not be used as a toy. "The supreme place that creates our policies and builds the future of our brothers and sisters is being turned into a toy today," he said.
He urged voters to take the lead in the country's development and prosperity by selecting the right leadership.
