Shishir Khanal Thanks Voters and Pledges to Create Employment

Kathmandu: Shishir Khanal, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6, has expressed his gratitude to the voters.

Meeting with voters in his constituency on Monday, he stated that the public has entrusted the party with both votes and responsibility, and emphasized that the RSP no longer has the luxury of failure. He committed to honoring the public’s trust by working toward national prosperity.

He said, "The people have shown great faith by entrusting us with their votes and responsibilities. Now, the Rastriya Swatantra Party cannot afford to fail under any circumstances. I want to assure you that we will work toward making the country prosperous while honoring the immense trust you have placed in us."

Stating that job creation is a major challenge for the country today, he mentioned that the party aims to create 1.2 million jobs over the next five years.

He claimed that because the RSP has a significant presence in Parliament, no one can stop them from repealing outdated, useless laws and drafting new legislation as needed. Khanal was elected to the House of Representatives with 27,711 votes.
