General Secretary Sharma Sends New Consensus Proposal to Acting President Khadka

Nepali Congress Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, who arrived in Sanepa for the Central Working Committee meeting, has received a new proposal for consensus sent by General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma.

According to a party leader, discussions are currently underway on the proposal sent by General Secretary Sharma at Acting President Khadka’s office in Sanepa.

Earlier, during discussions held at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma had urged Deuba to take rest. 

They had also demanded a provision whereby the Acting President’s signature would be used in the distribution of tickets for the upcoming House of Representatives election.
