RPP Leader Gyanendra Shahi Slams Government Over Singha Durbar Arson: 'When Will You Arrest the Traitors?'
Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Gyanendra Shahi has launched a scathing attack on the government via social media, demanding the arrest of individuals who allegedly celebrated and posed for photos after the arson at the Singha Durbar administrative complex.
In a Facebook post, Shahi directed his questions toward the government, referring to it as "Sushila Aama's government" (a common colloquial reference to the current leadership), stating:
"When will you arrest the traitors who celebrated and did photo shoots after burning Singha Durbar, Sushila Aama's government? The government that arrests those who burn the houses of corrupt, murderous leaders has instead rewarded the Singha Durbar arsonists by including them in a meeting with the Prime Minister."
Shahi labeled the inclusion of such individuals in a high-level meeting as a "misfortune for the country."
The RPP leader concluded his post with a stern warning to the current administration:
"Be aware, if this government continues to protect such traitors, its path to downfall is certain."
