Serious Allegations Against Proposed Cabinet Member by Gyanendra Shahi

Gyanendra Shahi, a leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has raised serious questions regarding the citizenship and nationality of a proposed member of the new cabinet.

Through a public warning directed at the Prime Minister on social media, Shahi has alleged that the individual is a member of a Tibetan refugee family whose parents obtained 'fake citizenship' and resided in Karnali.

According to Shahi, the proposed minister also studied at the Tibetan camp in Dharamshala, India, was involved in the 'Free Tibet' campaign, and worked as a temporary employee at an embassy abroad.

Shahi has called such an appointment an act of 'treason right before our eyes' (Aankha Agadi Rashtraghat), claiming that if it proceeds, it will damage Nepal's sovereignty and national integrity. While expressing personal respect for the Prime Minister, he urged him not to proceed with such wrongful actions.

Warning that the government's future would be imperiled if such treason occurs, he stated, "K.P. Oli's government fell in 27 hours; yours won't even last 17 hours."

He also made it clear that a day might come when he would have to stand against the Prime Minister if the nation's existence were threatened. However, he has not publicly disclosed the name of the person against whom he has made these allegations.
