Security Tightened for RSP’s Dhangadhi Election Event
Dhangadhi: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is organizing an election assembly in Dhangadhi today. RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Balen Shah are scheduled to participate in the assembly starting at 11:00 AM. Chairman Lamichhane arrived in Sudurpashchim on Tuesday to attend the event.
Similarly, Balen is scheduled to reach Dhangadhi only today, according to Anand Bahadur Chand, the RSP House of Representatives candidate for Kailali Constituency No. 5. High supporter turnout is expected with the arrival of the two leaders. Anticipating a large crowd, the police have tightened security arrangements.
DSP Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson for the District Police Office Kailali, stated that additional police personnel have been deployed in Dhangadhi today. "We have mobilized additional police, including an investigation team, in the Dhangadhi area," Timilsina said. "We have kept more personnel on standby for deployment if necessary, and Armed Police Forces have also been mobilized."
RSP Chairman Lamichhane and Balen are scheduled to address the assembly at 12:00 PM.
