Nepalese Youth Saroj Aryal Successfully Scales Mt. Everest

Kathmandu. Saroj Aryal, a 30-year-old Nepalese youth residing in Australia, has successfully climbed Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. He reached the summit of Mt. Everest on May 20 at 5:50 AM.

Aryal, who had aimed to reach the summit of Everest on May 19 to coincide with his birthday, reached the peak on May 20, the day after his birthday, due to some delays along the way.

He shared that he felt quite saddened to see a greater dominance of foreign climbers than Nepalese on Mount Everest, the pride of his own country.

He added that being a Nepalese, the inspiration that he should climb the peak of his own pride himself led him to Mount Everest.
