Former Private Secretary to Indian Home Minister Amit Shah, Sandeep Rana, Recommended by Nepali Congress for House of Representatives Membership

The Nepali Congress has recommended Sandeep Rana, the former Private Secretary to Indian Home Minister Amit Shah, for membership in the House of Representatives.
Rana, Shah's former Private Secretary, has been recommended from Palpa Constituency No. 1. As his name was recommended singly, it is almost certain that he will receive the ticket.
Rana is currently also considered close to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Rana, who has been living in Nepal for the past six years, is a staunch Hindu nationalist.
