Sagar Dhakal Says: 'Dear Mother Sushila, Forgive Me, I am Terrified by Work of This Government'

Sagar Dhakal, the young leader who gained attention after contesting the 2079 House of Representatives election against Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dadeldhura, has expressed serious dissatisfaction with the working style of the current government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

Writing a status update on social media, Dhakal addressed Prime Minister Karki as 'Dear Mother Sushila' and expressed his complaint that he is "terrified by the speed and work of this government."

He wrote, "Dear Mother Sushila, forgive me, I cannot simply leave Dadeldhura like this, I am truly terrified by the speed and work of this government."

Dhakal's dissatisfaction is particularly focused on the government's attempt to conduct the upcoming election using the old style and procedures, despite having created history through the 'Gen Z Movement.'

Dhakal, who had even visited Baluwatar along with the Gen Z youth, expressed his anger, stating that the government is focused on conducting the elections while keeping the existing systems largely unchanged.

He complained, "We created world history, but the entire system is in a mood to conduct the election almost as it is. It is looking for excuses at every step."
