Russia-Ukraine War: Continuous Drone Attacks, Military Helicopter Targeted
Russia and Ukraine have reported carrying out extensive attacks against each other from Friday night into Saturday morning.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated in a press release that over the past 24 hours, its forces targeted 142 locations, including Ukrainian fuel, energy, and transport infrastructure, as well as long-range drone production and storage centers.
According to the ministry, Russian forces also targeted temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian soldiers and foreign mercenaries. Additionally, it claimed to have taken control of four more settlements in the Kharkiv region.
On the other hand, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 268 combat clashes from Friday to Saturday.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces attacked three Russian command posts, five drone control centers, and other military targets within the past 24 hours.
Furthermore, it was mentioned that two missiles and 17 drones launched by the Russian side targeted 16 locations.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces also targeted a Russian military helicopter in the airspace over the Sea of Azov early Saturday morning and attacked a railway bridge over the Siverskyi Donets River in the Luhansk region, the General Staff stated.
