The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has postponed its Change Announcement Assembly, which was scheduled to be held in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi on Saturday. The assembly was reportedly postponed due to factors including the determination of organizational priorities and strategic management.

RSP Rupandehi leader Madhu Aryal stated that the Rupandehi assembly was postponed for special reasons and that a new date would be fixed soon. The RSP has already held assemblies in Dhangadhi on Wednesday and Surkhet on Thursday.

Preparations are underway to hold an assembly in Dang on Friday. Meanwhile, the party's senior leader, Balendra Shah, returned to Kathmandu from Surkhet on Thursday after falling ill.
