RSP Vice-Chair Wagle Demands Re-examination of Co-operative Investigation Report

Kathmandu. Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Vice-Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has stated that the current government should re-examine the Co-operative Investigation Report.

Speaking to the media after meeting party chairman Rabi Lamichhane at Nakkhu Jail on Tuesday, Wagle said that the current government must re-examine the report, claiming that the CPN-UML's intention was clearly visible in the investigation report prepared by the parliament.

He said, "Rabi Lamichhane has been kept in Nakkhu for four to five months, and for a long time in Bhairahawa. What was the basis? The general public has clearly understood the intention of the Oli government, which, based on the investigation report prepared by the parliament, took the report of that nature and took it to the Cabinet for action within two or three hours of its submission."

"We have urged this government to read page number 449 of that report again. Let the Cabinet re-examine that Co-operative Investigation Report and seek legal advice on whether further investigation is needed," he added.
