Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Secretariat Meeting Decisions
The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has relieved its Provincial In-charges of their responsibilities. The Secretariat meeting, held on Tuesday, decided to relieve the leaders who were in the role of In-charges to focus on activities centered around the upcoming election.
According to RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the meeting decided to assign the role of Provincial In-charge to Central Committee members.
"Expressing special thanks to the Secretariat members who have been serving as Provincial In-charges, it was decided to give them responsibilities in upcoming election-focused activities and to assign the role of Provincial In-charge to Central Committee members," states the Secretariat meeting decision.
The following are the decisions of the RSP Secretariat meeting:
Dialogue Progress: The High Dialogue Committee briefed the meeting regarding the progress of dialogues with various political parties, groups, and individuals.
It was decided that the Secretariat would facilitate the necessary steps to proceed as per the instruction of the Central Committee meeting held on Mangsir 3, 2082 to bring possible political polarization and cooperation to a logical conclusion. It was decided to call upon all alternative forces dedicated to good governance and rapid development to unite to build the collective strength capable of bringing radical change to the country's economic and political structure.
Commission Appointments: It was decided to request Central Committee members to nominate qualified individuals for the vacant positions in the Central Disciplinary Commission, Central Election Commission, and Central Accounts Commission.
Provincial In-charges: Expressing special thanks to the Secretariat members who have been serving as Provincial In-charges, it was decided to give them responsibilities in upcoming election-focused activities and to assign the role of Provincial In-charge to Central Committee members.
Rapid Action Team: It was decided to form the Party's Rapid Action Team (RAT) in all municipalities and to instruct the Provincial and District organizations for the same.
Kirtipur Municipal Committee Dissolution: Based on the performance evaluation report, it was decided to dissolve the Kirtipur Municipal Committee as per Article 70 of the Party Statute.
