Meeting between Rabi Lamichhane and Rajendra Lingden
Kathmandu. A meeting has taken place between the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, and the Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden. RPP Chairman Lingden reached Rabi's residence on Thursday morning for the meeting.
According to RPP spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, they discussed the current political situation and the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.
Spokesperson Shrestha wrote on social media, "RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane in a dialogue early this morning. Is there any doubt about the election! The conversation started from here."
RPP Chairman Lingden had also met with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli yesterday. RPP has been organizing a tea party program on January 11 (Poush 27) to mark Prithvi Jayanti. Chairman Lingden is currently visiting top leaders of other parties to extend invitations for that program.
