RSP Expresses Deep Grief Over Death of 4-Year-Old Girl in Rautahat Accident

Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has stated that it has taken the incident involving the death of a 4-year-old girl, hit by a vehicle used during its election campaign in Rautahat, with utmost seriousness. On Friday, RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti issued a statement expressing that the party is deeply shocked and saddened by the incident.

"The Rastriya Swatantra Party is extremely shocked and heartbroken by the news of the untimely demise of a 4-year-old girl after being hit by a vehicle used during the election campaign in Rautahat. In this difficult hour of grief, we pay our heartfelt tributes to the deceased girl and express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family," he said.

Stating that the party has taken the matter very seriously, it has committed to providing full cooperation to the local administration for an objective investigation. 

The party further clarified that it will leave no stone unturned in ensuring justice for the victim's family through legal processes. Additionally, it informed that initiatives are being taken by the party to provide necessary relief and support to the grieving family.

To prevent such tragic incidents from recurring, the RSP stated that strict instructions have been issued to party members, candidates, and drivers to exercise high alertness while operating vehicles during election campaigns. Everyone has been urged to keep safety sensitivity as the top priority.

A 4-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle used in the election campaign of RSP candidate Sheikh Sagir in Rautahat Constituency No. 2. On Thursday afternoon, a car with registration number Ba 15 Cha 4244 hit Alpha Khatun, the 4-year-old daughter of Mohammad Sagir, at Mathiyatol in Ishnath Municipality-4, Rautahat.
