New Leadership Agreement in Rastriya Swatantra Party

An agreement has been reached to appoint one Joint General Secretary and one Joint Spokesperson on behalf of Energy Minister Kulman Ghising, and one General Secretary and one Joint General Secretary on behalf of Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah. 

Following this agreement, Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane signed separate deals to bring Balen and Kulman into the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

According to the agreement, Balen will be projected as the Prime Minister candidate for the upcoming House of Representatives election. Energy Minister Kulman Ghising, who is also the patron of the Ujyaalo Nepal Party, has been appointed as the first-ranking Vice President, second only to Rabi Lamichhane.

In the party hierarchy, DP Aryal and Swornim Wagle are ranked as Vice Presidents below Kulman. Currently, Kabindra Burlakoti is the sole General Secretary of RSP, while Bipin Acharya serves as the only Joint General Secretary.
