RSP Leader Sumana Shrestha Announces Party Exit

Kathmandu – Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader and former Education Minister Sumana Shrestha has announced her resignation from the party. She made the declaration through social media, stating that her political journey with the RSP has come to an end.
In her statement, Shrestha remarked, “Now, if anyone wants to attack openly, I’ve made it easier for you. Do as you wish, because I have already said that I’ve left the party.”
Shrestha had been actively involved with the RSP since its formation and was considered one of the prominent female leaders in the party. After RSP joined the government, she was entrusted with the responsibility of Education Minister. However, in recent days, her differences with the party leadership had become increasingly visible.
Her departure is expected to raise questions about internal management and organizational stability within the RSP. Political analysts suggest that the exit of a well-known figure like Shrestha could weaken the party’s public image.
Meanwhile, Shrestha has not yet revealed any details about her future political plans.
