RSP Leader Tosima Karki Demands 'Reformation' After Being Excluded from Secretariat

Internal dissatisfaction is escalating within the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). T osima Karki, a central committee member and leader of the party, has raised objections after she was not nominated to the Secretariat.
Karki expressed her discontent through social media after the acting President D.P. Aryal nominated Sobita Gautam, Ganesh Parajuli, Shishir Khanal, and Hari Dhakal to the Secretariat.
She emphasized the need for improvement in the party's working style and the necessity for further democratic practice. Leader Karki suggested the need for 'reformation' within the party, stating that 'executive leadership is change, it is reorganization.'
Karki's grievance is that the Secretariat was expanded two weeks before the expanded meeting, which was called to decide on the party's general convention and future strategy. She stated that in the party's activities, the 'grassroots of the organization should be able to feel ownership.'
She argues that if the members participating from all over the country in the expanded meeting are not given 'voting rights,' the meeting will be rendered pointless.
She stated that 'if voting rights are not given, there is no justification for calling members from all over the country to Chitwan, spending time, money, and labor for the meeting.'
