Rabi Lamichhane Claims Rastriya Swatantra Party Will Form Government After Falgun 21
Rabi Lamichhane, chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has claimed that his party will form the government after Falgun 21. During a public program/address, he stated that the upcoming political equation and public support are in favor of RSP, and the party will also lead the government.
According to Rabi, in the proposed government, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah will become the Prime Minister, and Swarnim Wagle will be assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance. He asserted that the new leadership will break away from old political practices and prioritize good governance, transparency, and development.
Following his statement, the political circle has sparked intense discussion. Supporters have seen this as a sign of alternative politics, while critics have commented that the claim lacks a realistic basis.
