After the election, the people will make one person a 'heavyweight': RSP candidate Khatri
Rajiv Khatri, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2, has stated that he is receiving positive responses from voters.
During a door-to-door campaign in Bhaktapur on Monday, Khatri mentioned that he has entered the electoral race for change, transformation, and a generational shift, and is receiving encouraging feedback from the electorate.
He argued that before the election, all candidates in Bhaktapur-2 hold equal status, but after the election, the people will make one individual a "heavyweight."
He stated that the RSP will move forward with both policy and intent simultaneously. Khatri also noted that citizens have complained that previously elected leaders failed to address their problems.
For the upcoming House of Representatives election, a total of 32 candidates are competing in Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2. According to the Election Commission, there are 98,356 voters in this constituency, including 6,445 new voters.
