Supporters of Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2 Visit Manakamana Mai Wishing for RPP's Victory

Bhaktapur. Supporters and well-wishers of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have visited and offered prayers at the famous Manakamana Mai temple in Gorkha, wishing for the guaranteed victory of the RPP candidate from Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2 in the upcoming election.

The program, which blended religious faith with national sentiment, saw significant participation from local RPP leaders, workers, supporters, and well-wishers from various sectors. Participants stated that during the worship, they prayed for peace, stability, good governance, and national unity in the country.

After visiting Manakamana Mai, the participating supporters clarified their full support for the core political agendas put forward by RPP—the restoration of a Hindu state, the abolition of federalism, and the provision of a guardian monarchy. According to them, these agendas have become indispensable for the protection of Nepal’s original identity, culture, and traditions.

Santosh Silwal, a member of the Bhaktapur District Working Committee, reminded that Nepal has historically been a Sanatan Hindu state and expressed the view that the current secular system has failed to address public sentiment. "Respecting the faith and culture of the majority of the Nepalese people, Nepal must be declared a Hindu state once again," Silwal stated.

Similarly, claiming that the current federal system of governance has failed, the Secretary of RPP Madhyapur Thimi-3 reiterated the demand to abolish federalism. They alleged that federalism has increased state spending, added administrative burdens, and encouraged corruption. "Federalism has given birth to more disputes than development," one participant said. "Now, a strong central governance system is necessary."

Supporters mentioned that a guardian monarchy is a symbol of the nation's unity, stability, and national sovereignty, expressing belief that the restoration of the monarchy could lead the country in the right direction. According to them, a guardian institution that remains above partisan politics is the need of the day.

The supporters noted that the visit to Manakamana Mai was taken not just as a religious act but as a commitment toward the nation, religion, and tradition. They stated that they are organized and committed to ensuring the victory of the RPP candidate from Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2 in the upcoming election.

According to party sources, the electoral atmosphere for RPP in Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2 is gradually becoming positive. RPP claims that attraction toward the party's agendas is increasing among everyone from the youth to the elderly, and public support is growing stronger.

The supporters also expressed a resolve before Manakamana Mai to protect the nation, religion, and tradition alongside RPP's victory.
