Restoration of 2047 Constitution Key to Nepal’s Future, Says Prasai

Kathmandu – Medical professional Durga Prasai has claimed that Nepal and its citizens will soon have the constitutional monarchy system they desire.
On Tuesday, sharing his views on social media, Prasai urged people to be ready for nationwide protests, centered in Kathmandu, to support this cause.
He alleged that movements like the recent “Zen Z” protests were designed by foreign powers and stressed the need to restore the 2047 BS (1990 AD) constitution.
He encouraged citizens to be prepared to celebrate festivals like Tihar by holding lamps, symbolizing hope for the return of constitutional monarchy.
Prasai criticized past and present political leaders, including Girija Prasad Koirala, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prachanda, KP Sharma Oli, and the current government led by Lucifer and Sushila Karki (as he described), claiming that foreign influence and directives have undermined Nepalese governance.
Prasai emphasized that despite challenges, the restoration of Nepal as a Hindu kingdom rooted in Vedic, Buddhist, and Kirati traditions is essential for both neighboring countries and Nepalese citizens.
He also called on victims of microfinance, cooperatives, blacklisted bank borrowers, and those whose properties were auctioned to prepare for a nationwide movement centered in Kathmandu.
