All-Party Government Must Be Formed to Write the Constitution - Ravi Kiran Hamal
Kathmandu - Ravi Kiran Hamal, a Gen Z leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has stated that the chapter on the reinstatement of Parliament is closed.
He warned against discussing the reinstatement of Parliament because the then-Parliament did not listen to the people's voices, leading to a rebellion, and the government formed by that Parliament was responsible for the killing of 76 people.
Hamal accused Sushila Karki of deliberately coming onto the streets with other planned schemes on Bhadra 24 (September 9, 2025) to turn the country to ashes, create a state of statelessness, and stage a coup d'état. He claimed that the current government's political and moral legitimacy has ended.
He asserted that the immediate way forward is to form an all-party government, including Gen Z rebels, political parties, and enlightened individuals, and to rewrite the constitution.
He made these remarks while addressing a Gen Z gathering organized by Nepal Pratham at the Crystal Palace Banquet in Kathmandu. He also called upon the Gen Z generation to stand united and come forward to resolve the national crisis.
