Raute Community Preparing to Migrate

Surkhet. The Raute people, who live a nomadic life, are preparing to migrate. Prakash Shahi, a Raute chief, stated that the Rautes, who are currently staying in Gurbhakot, Surkhet, are now preparing to move towards Salyan.

Although Chief Shahi informed that preparations to move the settlement are underway, he did not disclose exactly where they are moving, as the Raute community does not inform other communities about the specific location of their migration. 

They are waiting for the arrangement of vehicles to transport the necessary goods for their relocation. When reaching the Raute settlement on Thursday, they seemed very busy managing their belongings.
