Rautahat Gears Up for Election Nominations Today
Rautahat. In preparation for the House of Representatives member elections scheduled for March 5, candidate nominations are being registered enthusiastically across the country today, including in Rautahat.
The Election Officer's offices in all four constituencies of Rautahat district have completed all technical and administrative preparations for the filing of nominations. According to Chhotelal Das, chief of the District Election Office in Rautahat, all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the nomination process is organized and peaceful.
Candidates can register their nomination papers by appearing at the Election Officer's office in their respective constituencies from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM today. The Election Officer's office has urged candidates to complete the registration process within the stipulated time. "Only those candidates who have entered the Election Officer's office by 5:00 PM will have their nominations registered today," Chief Das clarified.
As many independent and party candidates had already collected nomination forms from the office on Monday, enthusiastic participation is expected starting this morning.
The Election Office has issued special instructions considering the potential crowds during the nomination filing. Political parties have been urged not to arrive all at once but to come in turns and fully comply with the election code of conduct. To maintain peace and security and facilitate traffic management, they have also been asked to limit the number of participants in processions and rallies.
Security has been tightened in all four constituencies of the district on the day of nomination filing. There has been a thick presence of security personnel around the Election Officer's offices since the morning. The local administration has implemented a special security plan to ensure that voters and candidates do not feel any sense of insecurity.
As a tough competition is expected between major political parties and independent candidates in all four constituencies of Rautahat, today's nomination filing is being watched with great interest. With the registration of candidacies today, election fever is certain to increase further in the district.
