Rameshwar Khanal Refuses Government Perks as Finance Minister

Kathmandu – Rameshwar Khanal, who is about to assume the responsibility of Finance Minister, has stated that he will not accept any government service or perks. 

After confirming his appointment as minister, he announced that he would not take the salary, ministerial quarters, vehicle, or any other facilities provided by the government.

It is reported that he also will not take a PSO (Personal Security Officer). Previously, while serving as the economic advisor to then-Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, he worked without accepting any facilities.
